Cancer Centers of America (CCA), Amritsar, in collaboration with the Amritsar Surgeon Society, successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program focused on the multidisciplinary management of colorectal cancer.
The academic session witnessed the participation of over 120 surgeons from across Amritsar, representing specialties including Urology, Neurosurgery, GI Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Oncosurgery.
The scientific program featured expert talks by Dr. Vivek (Radiation Oncology), Dr. Jagdeep and Dr. Rohan (Medical Oncology), and Dr. Shashank (Surgical Oncology). The discussions covered the complete spectrum of colorectal cancer management—from early diagnosis and advanced surgical techniques to radiation therapy, systemic treatments, and the latest advances in multidisciplinary cancer care.
The CME served as an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, professional collaboration, and strengthening evidence-based clinical practice, ultimately contributing to improved patient care.
CCA Amritsar extends its sincere gratitude to the Amritsar Surgeon Society, the distinguished faculty, and all participating surgeons for making the event a meaningful academic success. Together, we remain committed to advancing cancer care through continuous learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
